I know that Pace did the Cathy in response, but can anyone shed light on why the Judy was called Judy?

I dont know , but didn't earlier forks ( quad 21 for example ) have 'judy jacks' that separated the elastomers?

Pretty sure the guy who designed them had the nickname 'D' *.They were discussing the benefits of the fork and how good they were when someone said "Credit where due, D" hence Judy.. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I always pronounced it as juddy and in the isolated world of 90's mountain biking I think all our enclave did.
