My crap team selected to be the worst....is doing better than my proper team
Impressive!
See stage 3 summary for stage 4.
Rusty Bolts wins the day, Lampshade holds the overall lead
rolfscartoonclub continuing their slide down the table ๐
Where has it all gone wrong? I'm not actually sure I have any riders in the race!

Lampshade 15th overall! Be able to stay top of the STW league once we get to the mountains?
stage 7 honors, Durham Dynamos, DS Rich Harper with 340 points.
overall, well you know that already
Anyone entered a mountain team?
Just seen we are getting updates for daily winners. And I got day 3 woop woop. My team has now dragged it's self up into the top 10. Don't see me being in there for too much longer the guys I picked for the mountains are not looking too good right now.
Second in today's stage for Chefs choice, now sitting ninth overall. Hoping Nibbles, Valverde, Bardet, and Dam can doing something in the hilly stages. Although I've a gut feeling that I should have gone with Roche.
Pity Frank has left the tour as his form was excellent coming into it.
Closed in 60 points today on the leader. Still have 5/8 in GC. I think Sep was a good choice but his points are now spent. Will be cheering for Valverde, it's his time! You should have gone with Kwiatkowski ๐
NPFS Mountain team to follow...
I'm further from last than I was, but a long long way from 1st. I'm hoping a few above me have picked froome.
I picked Froome and at the last moment decided to swap Nibbles for Cavendish. I'm not confident.
Looks like you have to get down to 29th position, and Junkyard's Journeymen to find a team without Sagan! He has twice as many points as my whole team ๐ณ
Damn choosing people I want to do well, not ones I actually think will!
Not sure how I'm still managing to maintain the lead. Maybe the mountains will sort them out. Still got the full 9 at the moment, so making steady progress.
right, a hilly stage 8. Honors to Pataks Immodium Procycling, DS Matthew Stewart, on 402 points.
overall, well fatigue might be setting in as Lampshades lead is narrowing, 2873 points to second place No Place for Sentimentality on 2610 points.
TT'ing into stage 9, team RadiBier, DS McGuff stole away and held off the rest with 399 points.
Overall Team Lampshade are stubbornly in the lead with 2976 points.
Heading into the rest day, Team Moopi won the stage, DS Simon Abbot, with 539 points.
Alan's team Lampshade still retains the overall with 3236 points, with 500 points separating the top 10
Stage 11 honors go to SouthernCiderRiders, DS 40mpg, with 267 points.
Overall Lampshade are still holding on to the lead.
FFS, Sagan has more than my team!
my "losers" are beating my supposedly proper team, too. Nibali - who'd have thought (I was expecting the bigger boys to have taken his dinner money long ago)
stage 12 and the seemingly unstoppable team Lampshade romp away with the stage with 308 points.
A steep ending to stage 13. Today's honors go to Chefs Choice, DS, err cough cough, The Swedish Chef, with 525 points.
Overall Alan's team Lampshade is still top of the pile.
well this is getting a little embarrassing.
stage 14 honors go to Chefs Choice, DS Swedish Chef with 430 points.
and the overall lead now moves to the shoulders of Swedish Chef too.
Well done, I'm finding the KOM competition pretty interesting though... ๐
Oh and the RoadCC one.
stage 15, the breakaway almost held on.

No change in the overall with Chefs Choice out in front with 4700 points
Stage 17, short, steep, decisive?
Honors to Chefs Choice, DS Swedish Chef, with 441 points.
Overall Chefs Choice is still there with 5141 points
Spotty T-shirt!!! Woohoo!!!! ๐ 8)
May I be the first to congratulate myself, I'll take any win and the STW Fantasy KOM will do.
I'd like to thank my team, my agent and the allowance of mid-competition transfers ๐ ๐
Its been fun 8)
Stage 18, only 2 hills, what's that all about?

Stage 20, the tony martin panzerwagen roles on.
Honors to Pataks Immodium Procycling, DS Matthew Stewart, with 445 points.
Overall things are getting really tight, Chefs Choice lead by 29 points from Colin's Silly Grinners.
If Greipel turns up tomorrow then I'm home and dry, if Renshaw thinks he's leading out Cav like the old days then Colin might well be in.
Stage 21, the Germans keep winning.
Stage honors to Rusty Bolts, DS Rusty Mac with 330 points.
Overall the top three STW teams are:
Chefs Choice, DS The Swedish Chef with 7625 points, 261st place overall

Crown Jules, DS Jules Jordan with 7233 points, 521st place overall
First place overall amassed a staggering 9807 points!
That definitely made watching the tour even more interesting as you could cheer on the lesser names hoping they would score for your team. Congrats to the Swedish Chef on walking away with it towards the end. (Straightliner/Crown Jules)
Well done to those that persisted with the strategically demanding RoadCC fantasy league where Ro5ey's Rouleurs came second to my team.
Well played mudshark... the two days l missed putting transfers in, cost me dear.
But that's part of the fun.... you can't have an off day...kind of just like the real tour
transfers ???
Two transfers per stage, more strategy less luck.
I thought there were no transfers too? No wonder i didnt win came 16th.
Once you have selected a team of 9 riders and they have started the Tour de France, you may not replace them during the race. There will be no rider substitutions during the race, even if riders abandon during the race. The 9 riders that you start the tour with will be the only riders who will score you points during the event.
You can make unlimited changes to your team up until the entry deadline of 12:00 CEST (Central European Summer Time) on Saturday 5th July 2014. Simply click the Change Riders button on your team page to reselect your squad.
Only the last team entered by each player will be activated as an official entry.
It is the responsibility of each directeur to manage their own team line-up as the entry deadline approaches, although Velogames will provide a status for each rider showing whether or not they are on the most recent start-list.
Ro5ey and I are talking about the RoadCC one, I also did the Skoda one which has 50 transfers to use as you wish over the Tour so different strategy required there - I was quite busy with these 3 different competitions ๐
