Who'd be up for a STW tandem ride if it was in Mid Wales somewhere in the next month?

I could organise a route and stuff if enough folks were up for it.

I would but I am busy most of august and mid wales is about as inconvenient a place to get to as exists in the UK. North yorks / lakes would be easier.

You could go out and buy another tandem before the end of the month.

Afterall you haven't had a new bike for a few days have you. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don't have a tandem but I'd love to try one, I think Mrs NBT is about ready to give it a go...

Mrs Nicknoxx and I might be up for that but it would have to be the weekend of 15th 16th August as all others are booked. Don't forget the Big Bike Bash on the 22nd.

Would have to be nearer to September, and possibly North Wales, to coincide with my holiday there!

Would probably have a spare stoker's seat too, the wife isn't too happy on anything other than new forest type forestry tracks.

We'd be up for it, but it would have to be road ride only for us.

Anyone interested in a Swinley or Surrey Hills tandem meet one weekend in the middle of August?
Could involve camping at Holmbury YHA (if its open and lets us) with beer?

Any chance of somewhere in the middle of the UK? I would love to meet up with other tandemeers but the idea of a days travel each way for a days riding does not appeal very much

We could make the Mid Wales location a two day outing.

Great camp site near to town with plenty of pubs.

Ap, we'd be up for a ride down south at some point in August. Surrey Hills, Swinley or can even do a South Downs one if you like.

Being in Portsmouth, a Swinley/Surrey/South Downs one would be good, be nice to encourage the missus to try some more off road tandeming.
