Are they all the same ish? & if not, what's the differences?

Got an old retro gents bike in the garage I need out of the way but the gear cable's bust.

They have not changed in years

id guess most shops will have them on the shelf , we still see loads of crappy Raleigh 20s etc at work and the 3 speed ย trigger shifter is current

Assuming yours is a trigger and not twist grip shift

It's a trigger type. I went to a well known shop in Harrogate but they were as much use as a fart in a phonebox.

There was a shop called Ace Cycles in Harrogate but he's closed, I just know he'd have had one. (or known what I needed).
