first stupid move was 3 weeks ago, ordering the parts for a new bike i ordered 1 full brake cable kit (inners + outers) + 2 inners. no issue in the spares box.
so building it tonight; chop the outer, with the inner inside it! haha spares box.
Come to the gear cables, treated my self to gore ride on cables, then promptly cut off both ends of the same cable. 😳
