[#1584653]

I have no idea with these old school imperial numbers... Basically I have a 32T on-one SS chainring, what chain is this meant for?

To confuse the issue, I also have a 36T Velosolo chainring that has much thicker/bigger teeth than the on-one, I've already discovered that my normal chain doesn't go over the teeth, so what size is it? 1/8 I think?

I'd like to be able to try both chainrings in my SS setup, to see which ratio I prefer, so what size chain should I get?

help a confused modern man please ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm pretty sure you need 1/8th with the on-one chainring - it's quite thick.

you can use 1/8th with a 9 speed chainring/cog anyway.

1/8 = 4/32 so bigger than 3/32 the 1/8" is thicker and will fit anything. the 3/32 may not fit.

3/32" works fine on the on one ring.

edit: just *read* the post (makes a change for this place!!), you need an 1/8th chain for the other ring.
