[Closed] *STUPID QUESTION* Can You Convert a 9m QR Rear to a 15mm Bolt Through???

This is potentially a REALLY stupid question, but I'm just wondering if you can covert a 9mm QR rear axle to a 15mm bolt through?

Can you buy any sort of adapters etc?

I know you need to change the hubs etc, but would it fit the actual frame?

Sorry for such a newb question!

Some hubs (Hope Pro2 etc) allow conversion.
But you can't change the frame unless you've got bolt-on dropouts of some sort.

But a frame with qr 10mm dropouts (forks are 9mm, frames are 10) will allow a 10mm bolt-thru, like Superstar make.

The bike in question is a 2011 Mondraker Foxy RR running a Crank Bros Cobalt wheelset.

Why? I thought Mondrakers were quite stiff.

I would say no to changing any rear type wheel to a 15mm I'm not even sure I've ever seen rear stays with 15mm configuration as ir said some wheels you can change out to fit 10 mm in standard 135 q/r rear drop outs but unsure regards crank bros wheels.

The rear on mine flexes quite a bit. I'm a powerlifter (so pretty strong), and I ride quite aggressively.... Just want to tighten the rear up a little.

On some hubs, yes you can convert (Hope do).

I run a 135mm x 12mm axle on a Pro 2 - but use the Azonic Momentum axle to fit the 10mm dropouts.

Unsure on the wheelset you have though.

I'd imagine they're standard drop outs so the best you'll be able to do is a 10mm bolt in or through. May mean a change of wheel though.

Designed for 10mm bolt-in hub (Hope Pro2 Trials)

And yes, it stiffened the rear end up.
