Broken piston on avid juicy 5's. no ride for me tomorrow.
Take this as your cue to replace them with something else. Anything else. Except another Avid brake.
I do belive Sir, you have some poopy brakes right there. Bin the pieces of crap - I've had the misfortune in the past 🙁
As I thought... Not worth the repair? I've never had anything other than this set of brakes so enlighten me. Why are they 5h!t?
ride with one brake, swap the broken part over if it is on the front to get a working front and just be a little more judicious with the speed on technical downhills having only 80% of your breaking power.

The pistons are made of some sort of new cheese - one that's crumblier than any cheese known before. So, if they don't get stuck, they disintegrate.
Should they survive long enough for the whole system to need a bleed - hahahaha, good luck with that one. If you have the suitable PhD in astro-physics, you still aren't guaranteed to make it work.
