Since the DOT fluid label tells you your arms will fall off and the entire eco system will perish if they touch the fluid - how do you 1) dispose of the used fluid and 2) clean your bleed kit out having bled the brakes?

Dipose of it in your local recycling centre in the oil disposal point IIRC, just empty the bleed kit and leave it

There's no need to clean a bleed kit out, just tip the dregs out of the pump.
Garages that deal with larger quantities of used brake fluid just tip it in with the waste oil.
