I'm looking for some help from the masses please...
I've tested Stumpjumper 29 HT and love it, it felt great - even better than the 26 Epic it's replacing but I've also had a look at Giant's Composite XTC 29er and it seems better value (come standard with 15mm front end so I won't have to do so much upgrading). I had a sit on in the shop and the 20" feels very close the Specilized's 19" and looking and the geom on the websites they look fairly close but the headtube is a little shorter (no bad thing for me). Sorry about my rambling but the problem I have is that I can't find a large demo of the XTC so I'm restricted to a car park test - has anybody tried/owned both and can offer a comment with regards to the 2 frames, not so much about fit more stiffness, compliance etc?
