Got a cheap ebay special as part of a fixie build. I've had the hammers, heat guns, grinders and other fun tools out and have finally stripped the frame of parts fitted without grease 30 years ago.
I'm stuck on a pedal though. Given this has cost me a good spanner and a few hours I could probably just buy another crankset and be done with it but this is now about stubborn pride.
Any tips for removing it. I've tried penetrating oil, grinding flats, putting it in a vice with a 5ft scaffold pole. All failed. Cola, ammonia - anything else. Can't drill it as the steel is too hard and I'm not buying a drill bit.
I had a mega stuck one once and the only way I managed to remove it was clamping the pedal in the vice with a couple of strips of metal on the spanner flats so it was firmly clamped then some heavy persuasion on the crank with a lead hammer. Also, its worth checking that you are turning it the right way
Grinding flats onto the spindle and clamping in the vice should do the trick. Try putting it into the freezer overnight and going at it again.

Had this with an M540 pedal in a Spesh crankset.
I stupidly tightened it instead of undoing it.
Ended up taking the pedal apart, grinding two flats on the axle, then clamped it in a vice and pulled on the crankarm. Jobs a good un. Even managed to get a replacement axle and rebuilt the pedal.
