Morning All
I've just been reassembling my fork after a service and oil change and the bolt on the right hand leg has stuck and is just spinning round so wont do up ๐ฎ
It was a bit of a struggle getting it off but did eventually come, I put this down to having been a while since it was last serviced ๐ณ I was very careful not to cross thread it as I went to put it back on but it appears to be stuck on the thread and both just spin round. I cant even back the blasted thing off.
Help ๐
Pretty please ๐
what forks is it?
I had this on some Pace ones at relies on friction betwen a taper on the damper and a taper in the fork leg. they recommend pushing down on the fork crown with your foot (fork upside downwith steerer top on the floor) to compress the fork and to load the interference fit a bit more.
I would recommend a bit of compression too.
Its an 06 Float 130 R.
I'll give it a spin and see what happens. Have just seen the time so will have to wait until after work now, blast...
