It does exist (ok strength isn't an issue here
so substitute durability instead) . Ritchey WCS foam grips. Cost me under a tenner 12 years ago, just removed them with no visible wear, and they save about 80g over normal grips which is to say they are about 1/5 the weight.
Comfy too as they are quite thick and shaped, not the stupid weight weenie ones. Took them.off cos I fancied a change.
