What's the best way? Can I get a professional to do it (guessing sandblasting wouldn't be a good idea)?

88kg today 8) Have tailed it off a bit now, just continuing to build fitness and letting the weight loss take care of itself (two gym sessions today, 25km ride, 3km jog, 1.5km swim then in the afternoon it was a 1hr spin class and 1km in the pool 🙂 ) Aim is to get below 80kg now! 😯
Yep, the frame is painted, it's the Szazbo I picked up a while ago. It's been sprayed a horrible pinkish colour over the orginal blue, really needs to be stripped and repainted.
take it to armour tech in hackney, £70 gets you a blast and powder coat in colour of your choice.
have used them before, they're good from what I hear. Just worried that blasting wouldn't be good on a thin walled alu frame?
Leave it to pros don't dream of getting involved.

If it's a lightweight aluminium frame be aware that powdercoat is heavy! It added over 1/4lb to a frame I had done compared with the wet-spray paint before.
will probably get it properly painted, maybe by Argos or similar... I thought powdercoating was a no no for alu frames due to the heat or something?
