I've seen those sticky guides, that's one option, but anyone drilled and retapped? Helocoil?

Timesert is better and stronger than a helicoil, where abouts are you may be able to help out 😀

Doesn't really need to be particularly strong it's only a hose guide . I would just zip tie it but you may be more worried by these things than i am .

Thanks donkey Dave, I'm in Cornwall, I'm guessing your not?....I'm using a zip tie, but a bit of a lash up tbh!
