Started Strava June 23rd, according to my cycle computer I am 30 miles short of 5000 miles for the year and I'll be putting those in tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll have recovered from my Achilles tendonitis in 2015 and be back running and cycling harder/faster/more purposeful/more enjoyable miles and not riding as many mundane miles to maintain fitness.

It remains quite flat round here.
963km in 50 rides this year although there's probably one or two I've not recorded. Been a lot of work this year, must ride more next year.

Not bad for 57 year old (I'd be able to to even more if I retired). ๐ฏ

That's probably four fifths of total i think as i don't record everything especially little blats around the woods, but nevertheless pretty modest.
My rather ace and fast wife on the other hand:
5886 miles
431 hours
374567 ft climbing
439 rides.
She is going for 6000 miles by the end of the year. Not bad for a mum with 2 kids and a 30-40 hour working week, she is pretty nails!

Mostly Road I'm afraid.
Not bad averages though, so I shouldn't feel too bad.

All off-road, and near-enough half are night-time, so low mileage.

I think even the Yak may have beaten that Pathetic effort.

Was hoping to do the festive 500 being as I'm currently in the southern hemisphere, so no bad weather excuses. I'm in Wellington and it's pretty hilly, which I'm not used to, so doubt I'll manage it.

With all those midweek rides you do Stanfree I reckon you only work part time. Once she who must be obeyed is working again I might get out midweek but none of that roadie rubbish.
The Yak is well short of me, in every sense.

2000km more than last year, and triple the amount of elevation gain so I'm more than happy with that. Not sure I could improve much on the distance next year without the Mrs kicking me out but there's always more hills to ride ๐

Did more miles than last year which isn't bad considering I had 5 weeks off the bike in the Summer with a grade 3 shoulder separation ๐
Heres mine, I was hoping for more like 4,500 this year but have had major health issues since June so quite gutted.

No road bike, no commuting, no tarmac bashing to make up the miles, so all rides are mainly off road but I do live in the flat lands of the north Cheshire plains and because I drive with work I can't be bothered driving to the hills too often at weekends, (hence the crap height)
