I’ve given my Garmin HR strap to my son and it works on his Garmin 530 - connects and shows all ok, plus it shows on his Garmin Connect.
However there is no record on his Strava - we’ve uninstalled the HR strap, uninstalled Strava etc etc but we still can get HR to show on Strava when the ride is logged.
Anyone got any ideas how to fix this please?
If it's a Bluetooth hr strap, Strava no longer support them.
Surely if it works with the Connect app, it should sync correctly with Strava? Assuming that you're recording the activity with Garmin Connect and then syncing with Strava, the actual HR strap should be irrelevant as far as Strava is concerned.
Have you subscribed to strava?
Strava only shows HR in the premium version doesn't it? I presume you've subscribed?
I thought strava did show heart rate in the free app. But not zones. Unless that changed last week
You have to opt-in for Strava to use your HR readings.
