[Closed] Strava riders near Peter Tavy

iirc there isnt an awful lot in the immediate area which is decent but around double waters and the surrounding area there is a lot of great riding to be had. just follow your nose or search strava segments.

Living there or just staying for a bit?

Thank you all. Going down there soon for a day, so trying to plan a route. Last time I followed a track near Moretonhampstead and it was great. It felt like it took me to the best bits of the area.

Go East young man-

Lustleigh or Princetown have what you are looking for. Would be a shame imho to come to Dartmoor and not go to the best bits!

Whilst there is better riding further east, there are some fun descents into Peter tavy in the right conditions.

Look for the bridleway down from cox tor. There is also a fun DH on smeardon down. It's on strava I think.

Grenofen woods the other side of tavy is worth a nose around, it's where I mostly ride and the tavy-yelverton cycle path runs right through the middle of it.
