Im wanting to buy some new flat pedals my current wellgo magnesium pedals have worn out & im edging towards a pair of straitlines however i've read some really good & some bad reviews any opinions or alternative's would be nice also i've had a pair of DMR V12's & didn't like the shape so dont fancy the new vaults!! Cheers!
No experience of them but Doug from basque mtb has wrote up an honest review and is perfectly placed to give them a more than healthy dose of real world testing.

Was enough to put me off buying them for my trail bike.
Superstar Nano's on both my bikes, had about a year of hammer on both pairs so far, one pair were bought second hand too! HT components do the same pedal for less too if your just after black ones.
I've just swapped from Wellgo 'V8's on my DH bike to Superstar Nano and they are very good. Give more support that the Wellgo's and are thinner so less [clumsy] pedal strikes.
Not used them for Trail duties yet but I'm happy to stick with the Wellgo's at the moment.
Couldn't find how to buy direct from HT though.
http://www.readytoridecycles.co.uk/nano---an01ss-flat-pedal---ultrathin-278-p.asp that's where most people get the ht nanos from - out of stock at the minute but the slightly more expensive mag ones are in stock and look pretty good value.
Got a pair of these

been great so far and look the same to me
Nice. Perhaps when they get the Nano's in stock I'll consider a purchase.
And thanks for the link directly above - saved £8 on some stuff I had my eye on.
