New garage soon, so attempting to organize it.

Shelves selected, now for boxes.

Anywhere better than IKEA? Would like something that won't crack the first time its dropped.. Seems to be an expensive thing to buy 10+ of!

I think it's probably worth paying a bit more for good ones. I have a load from £ shop type places and all are falling to bits. Especially at the handles if you lift them loaded up....

Sorry no recommendations on where to buy in Glasgow though....

I got some in Hellfrauds, they were going cheap (months ago). B&Q and Morissons were OK too I think.

ikea ones don't move freely pulling them out - the feet have ridges.

We got some of the clippy top Really Useful boxes from Staples when we moved in here - http://www.staples.co.uk/SearchEngine-storage+boxes

Got a stack of stuff in them in an outside store and they're airtight enough that my vintage collection of Oor Wullies haven't gone mouldy.

http://solentplastics.co.uk/ are worth a look, not near Glasgow but they do deliver. Agree that cheap ones don't last and worth getting decent sturdy quality.

I've got a real mish mash of boxes and I'd say the Morrisons ones are amongst the better ones. Not the cheapest iirc but stackable and are holding up well. The cheapest ikea blue ones are all collapsed / warped and now just store old oily crap.

Only thing to add is that see through ones are so much handier when searching for something in a rush. And get a range of sizes if possible.
