Anybody running one on their Stooge or other bike? Toying with getting one for the Dirtbomb and looking for feedback. Using the Junker 85mm at the moment but it’s not great for clamping things to. I’d be using it for everything from commuting and exploring to hooning about off road.

Yep, they’re definitely in stock.

@zinaru - good for all uses? Capable in the rough stuff?

Any feedback appreciated

@funkmaterp

ive only had the bike (and bars) for a few months but it been great. ive done a few big 7/8 hour rides (southern pentlands etc) and countless local loops in midlothian. the only thing im still getting my head around is the much longer wheelbase than on my old jones.

i run the bar with 30mm of spacers and a 45mm stem (im 6ft 2") and its high enough so the brake levers dont hit the top tube but still low enough to feel im still in a fairly aggressive position for singletrack and still very confidence-inspiring when things get steep or rough.

i tend to tinker a lot with bars when i get a new bike /set up but I've got on with these pretty much right out the box.

Thanks Zinaru - I’m running a 50mm BMX stem at the moment but considering swapping. I’m only 5ft 9” but about 90% arms.

I really like them. Steel bar are just better for rigid and the geo works really well on my Scrambler, but you'd expect that?

Well I bought the scrambler and fitted last night along with a new stem. Such a great bar. Comfortable, upright and brilliant for just cruising along yet still works a treat when things get rough.

The tiny downsides are that the logo is partially hidden by my stem and I can no longer squeeze through a narrow gap on my way to the gym 😀

The only question that remains is how many spacers is too many spacers? I’m at 30mm and toying with going to 40mm. I like the higher riding position on a rigid so that you can unweight the bars, hang further back and just get loose.

In short if anyone is in two minds about getting one just go for it. There’ll be an 85mm Junker bar and World Force BMX stem in the classifieds soon!
