Check the figures

800mm wide - that's right eight hundred

17 degree sweep

38mm rise

Nice!

Now can we have a flat version, with a W shape to offset the sweep, like an updated On One Mary?

I'd settle for flat and a longer stem, but that would look a bit odd, even more odd than a riser bar with loads of sweep, on a longer than nececary dropped stem.

Wow. When are the stooge hub brakes coming? So you can complete your very own klunker.

Stooge 'Moto' bar prototype has arrived. 800mm wide, 17 degree sweep, 38mm rise means you can dump the stem right down. RRP should be £45 or thereabouts. The wide area either side of the stem makes a really nice cruising position.

I did think, shimano do a dirt cheap coaster braked hub, could be awesome somewhere like Swinely where most of the downs are followed by a feature that scrubs your speed naturally.

Ive just cut my steerer down, as the front end was too high for me with flats, so risers would put the saddle below the bars.......I cant believe how much better for me dropping the bars made a difference in speed and climbing.

Cow horns we called them in the 70's

Isn't the front of a stooge high enough already?

Tall people are available. .. I always have to raise the front end on bikes.

I'm liking the look of these bars so will watch this space. ..

Stooge front end is high but I'm still running 60mm of spacers with a 12mm rise bar, These bars look the bo-locks and will let me bin some spacers.

cool bar, but it does look a bit strange
was hoping it would be similar to the moonriser, just cheaper

I'm 6ft 2" and have to run a negative stem on my 29ers or are you starring in easy rider?

Each to their own i guess. I find a higher front end is better for descending and my back wouldn't appreciate it being low.

You just go with what feels right and I've always ended up lifting the front one way or another.

High front (weight 'rotated' back) makes a lot more sense on a rigid bike

Evil Sovereign, Mk 1, limited edition Purple. But I am waiting for a buyer to let me know by the weekend whether we're trading frames (although this has been going on for 3 months and I'm not holding my breath) and I have 2 more interested parties forming an orderly queue...........if all falls through, I'll be back...........

I fancy those for the Patriot, but trimmed.

Having On One Fleegles with a high sweep on the other bike means a normal riser feels really weird.

I wish these came in low rise. I'd have a pair if they were 15mm or lower.

I just placed the order for the production run today, should be about 6 weeks away, hopefully. They are wide as all hell and can obviously be chopped down, but they work so well as is. Perfect for singlespeed cranking too, there's a lot of leverage there. Plus you can fit 17 lights and a computer either side of the clamp 🙂

I've done two rides on mine (uncut)

Very quickly into the first I had forgotten about them - always the seal of approval in my book

Like a referee in a football match - you shouldn't notice him 🙂

Can someone help me out please I can't seem to find a link on their website to place an order for the bars at all?? I think the prototype ones would be out of my budget!

@officerfriendly, they're about 5 weeks away at the moment, i'll be putting them up on the website as soon as i have stock. Price should be around £45, give or take a few quid, and that will include UK postage. I'll also post on here as soon as i have stock. Cheers, Andy
