Hi,

Mate has just contacted me - his house has been done over and the thieving barstewards have taken his 3-month old Transition TR250 and his 2-year old Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Carbon - it was the top-end version but he added more bling to it - XTR instead of X0 and some carbon brake levers to the Hopes.

Bikes were in his house in Falkirk. The Transition was pretty much stock but the Stumpy wasn't.

Not sure where to start looking to see if there are any for sale ads but can you keep your eyes open please?

Specialized spec is -

FRAME S.Works Stumpjumper FSR

Saw Jedi's post too. I'll be searching for TR250's for the next few months at least on several forums as waiting to see if one comes up, so can keep a look out longer term for this for you.

Any idea of the frame size?

There are barely 50 of them in the country and how many blue ones I've no idea but I bet if you rang the distributors in the morning, they'd tell you and keep an eye open I heard they had a couple of 450's nicked recently they are on the look out for.

I pity the fool if they're spotted out and about before they turn up on eBay/Gumtree etc....
Have you set a Gumtree email alert up Barton?

Oh, and if the frame serial number is available... I'm guessing Pedro may have a copy somewhere?... then get it on www.immobilise.com
I'm lead to believe that the police run a search of any recovered items that includes this database.

I'm regularly out and about between Fife and Falkirk/Larbet. Will keep an eye out.
