When i lived in Stroud, somebody nicked my lights and pump from outside the Subscription rooms, a week latter, left the bike there again and when i got back they had been replaced , and had new batteries.

Best of luck in getting it returned.

Sorry to hear this. 2 likely possibilities:

1) Opportunist Stroud smack-head scum. I'm not running the place down, I've lived here all my life and love Stroud. But as with all towns it has its share of undesirables. Sold it on for a tenner. Now making its way onto ebay / gumtree / trade-it etc

2) Group of lads, 1 opportunist thief trying to impress his mates. Steamed down the high street on it, legs akimbo, rode it to the canal/river and dumped it straight in

I'll keep my eyes peeled and let friends know.

I saw the title and thought someone had stolen Stroud.

"Good luck to 'em" I thought. 😳

Bloody hell. I clicked on this wondering how on earth someone pocketed a whole Gloucestershire town.

Quite relieved to see it was only a bike after all.

SPOTTED - something very similar

by the new houses on the Stroud to Stonehouse OLD ROAD 4-10 to 4-15 Just by the mini roundabout after the long straight with the Teaxco.

KEEP EM PEELED - Might still be floating, guy looked like he was commuting from a warehouse/factory.
