[#775657]

Woke up today to find some b#ggers have stolen my 06 Specialized Enduro S-Works.

It was a custom build, but still not very distinct - points to note:

-06 S-Works Enduro frame in silver (pretty dirty/muddy) with rear mudguard fitted. Medium.
-08 Rock Shox Domain U-Turn forks
-S-Ram X.0 Carbon Mech. X.9 shifters.
-Avid Juicy 7's - large 203mm front rotor
-Thomson post
-Large 2.3 Nobby Nics tyres

Any information leading to recovery will be greatly appreciated. Stolen from Nether Edge, Sheffield....

so geographically in the last 10 weeks or so:
you in nether edge
andrew on psalter lane
dave on sharrow vale road

Anyone else?

he police must do something about it, if it was the theft of 50" plasma TVs from Parson Cross they would take it seriously!! Or quad bikes off the Manor!!

I'm not alone then! I'll see what the police say when they get here.

Only pic I have is an oldy with different forks/chainset (now LX HT2):

Cheers all. The Police called, 'apparantly' there's a specific scheme operating in my area to tackle this problem and my details have been passed to the investigating officers. I don't hold out much/any hope!

bad news...can't believe how many are going, this has to be a group specifically after bikes, not opertunists like the police said.

All those stolen in this area MUST ride up Endcliffe park, then back again at end of rides. I still think thiefs are following people home after rides, watch your back as you return home.

Unfortunately mine was actually out of sight in my car, which isn't great for my insurance and I'm now kicking myself for not bringing it in....but they did well to find the maxle and get both wheels on (a tired rear mech meant getting the rear on was a struggle, let alone in the dark!).

I wonder if they'd seen it on my roof bars previously and 'marked' the address....or maybe just got lucky. Didn't nick the car stereo etc, just the locking wheel nut and blue camelbak the swines!

Sorry to say there's another one to add to the list. The scrotes kicked our back door in (stop s****ing) and made off with bike around lunch time today. Luckily my neighbour disturbed them so that's all they got - they were piling up laptops and guitars by the door.

Police have been good though, there were 10 units and the helicopter(!) out looking for them. They've nicked two that were in a stolen getaway car(!), although the one who rode off on my bike got away as they didn't know what kind of bike they were looking for at the time.

I probably haven't been followed home recently as I've barely been out on it, but apparently there has been a lot of burglaries around here recently. It's a student area so lots of new 'targets' have just moved in.

Oh, black maxlight with grey Bombers if anyone spots one. Distinctly has one red and one silver v12 and red Hope headset and seat clamp.
