Ah no sorry to hear that crotch, hope some or all of it gets recovered.

I'm Central Beds too, so will distribute amongst clubmates.

I'd like to learn how to burglar proof (as well as I can) my garage a bit, without giving too many ideas to would be thieves, how did they get in?

over a wall into my garden, levered the back door, cut the bike security cables (to the ground anchor) then left with my stuff by levering the front door.
Looks like a planned job of well equipped burglars.

I don't think much more domestic security would have made a difference.

Thats bad mate.....really feel for you.

But like you say it sounds like they knew what they were doing and what they were going for. Not really alot else you could have done for security.

Will keep look out

I thought Central Bedfordshire had been stolen. But this is much worse. Unlucky. Fingers crossed it gets found.

another buddy had his bikes robbed just a few weeks back - only connection between the 2 so far is that we both bought stuff from STW classifieds. We haven't done the math yet to see if there is a common seller.

I hope there is no 'actual' link or shit will happen, most probably from the rozzers, but I could be easily tempted to violence.

Police think that there is a gang working the biggleswade/sandy area for high end mtbs.
bring your bikes in the house and arm your dog.

Be lucky. out.

only that the cops told me a few other garages and outbuildings have been hit in the local area with high end bikes as targets.

Doesn't bode well at all.
