Just been to Trinity Road Police Station to recover a stolen bike. Also noticed some others that they didn't know who the owners were. If one of these might be yours get in touch with PC Frank Simmonds
Specialized Pitch
Old school Kona Explosif (I think it was an Explosif, very nice any way) with Mazzochi forks,
Plain silver jump frame bike but with red triple clamp Boxer forks and a faded purple Hope hub
Newish decent looking Carrera black mountain bike, not one of the cheaper bikes, looked like a large or extra large. Must have been bought this year.
From talk to the Police it looks like that you need to get your bike details on www.immobilse.com if you want any chance of getting a bike back as they use this to trace owners.
He also told me about the website www.stolenbristolbikes.com
Hi Woody, it's Antony here who runs the blog. Cheers for your email, and glad you got your wife's bike back. I might post up your list and see if it generates any interest.
The police have reunited a few owners with recovered bikes (like the chap whose stolen Bullit was spotted on here a few weeks ago) but I get the impression it's a PITA to check through the theft records, especially if it was stolen outside the area. So definitely register your bike as well - the website is actually www.immobilise.com/ ๐
