Do like the raw, but I bet the chap who lives in this dry place doesn't even need to think about rust much.

Raw.

My 456Evo is raw, I live in the UK and it hasn't turned into a scabby turd after 12 months of all weather use. Also bear in mind that when you chip the painted ones (and you will) the steel is exposed and it will rust anyway. At least when that happened to the bit of top coat on the raw it doesn't detract at all in terms of the overall appearance. Patina is cool!

I like the black and blue but it'd be hard to accessorize

Raw is always the best colour for a bike.

I went for the black as I didn't like the weld marks etc on the cable guides etc

Since you seem to be basically limited to different shades of grey then I agree that you might as well go the whole hog and just forget about adding any colour at all.

Raw by a country mile. It's bad ass.

The frames are dirt cheap anyway, if after a year or two it was damaged by corrosion (and it won't be) then you can just buy another

Barffy...what size tyre you got on the back there - 2.4? Doesn't appear to be much clearance.

Think it's a 2.35 Smorgasboard standard issue with the bike. Never caused any issue but I have a High Roller on there now anyway.
