ooh er.
my mate has dropped round his front road wheel (straight pull spokes) as it's a bit wonky after running into the back of a transit!
nipples wont loosen or tighten, and so the spokes just want to wind up.
any suggestions to loosen them? I've tried wd40- might try heating/ cooling the nipples /spokes.
any other suggestions to loosen things up?
drop of plus gas (+ a long wait) on the nipples/spoke junction may help
alloy or brass nipples? If it's alloy, give up now!

Why the **** alloy nips exist is beyond me.
brass i think - don't think the wheel is fancy enough for alloy - stupid question but how'd ya tell?
Use a magnet, if it sticks it is iron based, or picking up the spoke. If it doesn't stick it is brass or alloy. Oh, that might not work.... scratch it and see what colour it is?
