I went to move my bike earlier after a good month or so off the trails and the bars were rather stiff. After a bit of a push they seem fine again, but I'm wondering if I should consider this a transient problem due to the bike sitting still, or if it's a sign that I need to do... something to the headset. The trust Park Blue Book only talks about gritty or lumpy headsets, but it still moves smoothly. Any thoughts?

Went out again tonight and discovered that it's now grinding and stiff, so I've just ordered some new cartridge bearings.
