I have just put new outers on y heckler and gone for full length to keep the shit out.
The front emch loopsunder the top tube and could do with a cable guide, how permanemnt are the sticky pad ones form mpart and the like?

I *need* to be brave enough to drill the cable guides for the rear outer (will do it next time!!) - will this void the warranty on my new frame??

The ones I got with my gravity dropper were very good. I couldn't get them off when I sold the frame!

Why don't you just use zipties? If you use them in combinations of 3, so 2 loops, on round the cable, one round a part of the bike, and a little one holding them together, it should do... saves that horrible moment when the drill slips!!!!!
