Hi
any one used Stem Clamp Shims ? are they ok to use without slipping?
i need to get a low stack hight stem 35mm ish 70mm length
but all i can find are ones for 31.8 bars and i don't really want to change my bars yet

My Jones bar came with the shims - that's how they are all made. I can't see why it would be an issue.

I use an Easton shim with Easton stem and it's been perfect.

I had some that me with a gusset staff stem 31.6 to 25.8
Might still have them somewhere
Never used them to hold bars on. But did use them to shim some crosstop brake levers on my cyclocross bike, never had a problem with slipping
