[Closed] Steep and tech riding from Brittany - Alps or closer?

Spending some time in Brittany in August, and aiming to take the last week to go riding somewhere.

Was aiming to head to the PdS, but wondering if there's anything a closer drive that would be worth checking out instead?

Coming from Squamish, and looking for serious steep / tech / gnar stuff mostly. Happy to pedal all day for the goods.
