i've been looking at steel hardtail for a while now but i have just come across these http://www.enigmabikes.com/offroad are they any good.

The [url= http://www.enigmabikes.com/egost.html ]Ego[/url] looks nice, but nearly nine hundred quid for a steel frame is an awful lot, and that's prices [b]from[/b] £899 (my Pipedream 853 Sirius cost me £250). TBO I'd be thinking about titanium if I could afford that amount.

Everybody seems to think they are great, but for that price they'd bloody have to be. For that sort of cash you can almost have a ti frame or get a steel one custom built. Love the look of them but just can't justify the expense for steel.

i was surprised to with the price but then i thought of Nicolai frames as being a work of art is that we are looking at here.

I'm pretty sure it is custom. Hand made in East Sussex!
