Just noticed a crack on my chain stay, not circumferential, but not far off it. I don't know of any bike builders/welders in central scotland, but I have a small engineering workshop nearby who do all sorts of stuff. Does anyone have any experience of this?.

i got my local mot garage to weld it back up, cost me a fiver

Commutings a wee bit gentler than offroad though, no disrespect.

its also done a few trips round swinley and the 40k route on the marin rough ride
and my commute home often takes in steps, kerbs plus im a lardy bastard
