[#6231713]

I am looking for a new hardtail single speed, in steel.

I love the cotic soul but would like sliding dropouts
I like the look of the Pace RC127 but it seems like its vapour ware

I also like fat chain and seat stays from an aesthetic point of view.

Cheers

Kona Explosif 650b- has sliding dropouts and you can buy SS specific ones. Can be bought as frame only from various places.
I love mine!

The explosive does look cool and ticks a lot of boxes. Whats it like to ride?

Fantastic. I've owned mine for a year now.
The geometry is spot on and the finish is really nice.
120mm forks suit it perfectly. It's subtle enough to do 60+ mile rides comfortably.
I've been looking at selling ONLY to get the Ti version. Love it!

You won't find a Pace RC127 anywhere, there is a prototype, and that's it. Went to the magazines for a test, but hasn't gone production yet ๐Ÿ™

Consider a Surly 1x1 and put Dirt Wizard tyres on it to get 650b size wheels.

You won't regret it (but not sliding dropouts).

Itas a term used to describe software like games that are bigged up but dont actually exist and will never come out.. I didnt know what the bike version of that would be so I subbed with vapour ware.
