i've been wearing my riding glasses for the last few weeks on the commute run to keep the crap out of my eyes but i keep having the same problem when i stop...the lenses steam up and then i have to set off blindly until they clear...
i've tried using sparkle anti fog lens cleaner but this does not seems to do the trick...
has anyone got any suggestions?
Yeh, don't stop. 😉
Polish them with a drop of Fairy Liquid
Muc-off do a visor anti mist spray, I use it and it's great.
Wearing a Buff? Pulling it down below my nose prevents glasses misting up.
+1 for Fairy Liquid. It's and age old motorcycle helmet anti-fogging trick and works a treat. Put a couple of drops an a clean cloth and polish the inside of the lenses with it.
Although it's been so cold this week I've now mastered the art of breathing through the buff (having it just below my eyes) without misting my glasses!Wearing a Buff? Pulling it down below my nose prevents glasses misting up.
Yeh, don't stop
tempting as it way be...i need to at traffic lights...wouldnt want to be turned into human roadkill!! 😯
Wearing a Buff?
that goes under the helmet to keep my noggin warm...i have a respro city mask so maybe that needs to come out...
the fairy liquid tip sounds like a good one so i'll try that when i get home tonight...thanks people!!
A warm pespiring body and cold lens will result in fogging, lens treatment will help to an extent but will only go so far.
Professor style FTW
Washing up liquid works a treat in my Oakleys.
Cat crap can help
tried the washing up liquid method lats night and to quote Jimmy Cliff :
"i can see clearly now"....
the lenses now also have the added bonus of smelling like apples!! 😀
Fogtech is the only stuff that properly works without turning into a terrible smeary mess. Get the bottle as although the wipes can be used a few times they dry out before you come to use them again.
