They are, but the forestry commission aren't keen on riding in there so don't tell anyone

Need someone to show me round down that way... Know a lot of the FoD down to Coalway/Elwood/Park End, but nothing to the west or further south than that.

No they definitely don't have probably the best and longest descents in FoD over that way at all. Just hard stone fire-road style tracks

Looks forwards to threads about best bike/tyres/setup/mincing options for Staunton threads which just so happen to be available to buy from an undesclosed shop. ๐Ÿ˜†

I minced on a DHF/DHR2 combo...Shorty might have been a bit better on the front though

We were stopped by the FOD bods the other night and told to beggar off effectively. They are sticking signs up everywhere pointing out that riding other than on the fireroads (where we were when we met them in their pickup truck) is strictly forbidden on environmental grounds. So bear this in mind before encouraging more subversive behaviour.

yeah they're alright trails but i've found better recently and they're really not keen on riders around there at the moment.
