Has anyone any experience of them ?.

Every time i google the price of some part or other they always seem to have it at considerably cheaper prices. At first I thought it was a scam site, with low pricing to lure you in, but theres a fair number of positive reviews.

I also take it if I buy something like a fork from them, ill have to pay more due to taxation and handling charges and such. That the way it works 😕

I've ordered stuff from there pre-brexit, think last thing was a fork too.

All above board etc.

I've bought from them in the past, no problems at all.
They are part of (or linked to) the Weight Weenies forum.

Bought some Paul's Klamper brakes and Love Levers last year, and they were cheaper by about 25% than UK stockists.
Unfortunately I expect they won't be as cheap now, what with post-Brexit import duty + Vat being added.

Good shop and helpful when I needed to change an order.

The Brexit bonus costs are something to consider though, I was lucky to get in before for my forks.

Ordered a stem on 13-3, showing as dispatch in 1-2weeks, I assumed that meant not is stock but we’ll get it. EU VAT was removed, UK vat added as a line item on the order. No money taken.

2 weeks passed, raised a ticket, got a response within 24hrs saying the manufacturer was out of stock with no due date, and would I like to cancel. I didn’t. Had a note on Friday to say it was in stock and would be shipped shortly. Got tracking details on Monday and expect it to arrive tomorrow or Friday. Card was charged on dispatch.

Pretty happy tbh, nowhere had the stem in stock anyway so nothing lost. They were a fair bit cheaper than everywhere else.

Bought from them a couple of times this year. The price on their website excludes VAT for UK customers, which is one of the reasons they appear so cheap. If you get away with the customs charges you'll get a bargain, but my last purchase had nearly 40% added in VAT, customs duty, and a clearance fee. I doubt I'll be buying anything else from the EU in a hurry. Starbike's service has been decent though.

Starbike were decent pre-Brexit - I’ve had DT Swiss rims from them and a Pike Ultimate.

Just check whether they add the vat on at checkout and if what you’ve bought is over £135 then expect duty and the courier possibly to rip you off a bit.

I used them a few weeks back for forks.
No customs or VAT charges so think I got lucky 👍

Found them to be pretty decent. takes a couple of days for a reply with their online system but that is pretty normal. Just remember if it says in stock its in stock but if it says ready for sending in 1-2 days it is at a warehouse. Normally pretty quick though.

Had stuff through a couple of weeks back and didn't pay any duty or VAT on it. Ordering some stuff on payday this week from them.

Used them pre Brexit and found them easier and quicker to deal with returns than CRC. Possibly not the case now, but certainly wouldn't be their fault. I'm actually watching their site for a set of Yari forks at the moment.

Good to know, plenty of positive replies here.
I feel I need some sort of reliable EU seller, prices are always better at source, and in the UK they do love to 'add a premium'
