[#7441345]

Just waiting for my new switchback frame to arrive, wondering who's got one and (realistically) what would the biggest tyre that can be fitted in the rear (eg maxxis 2.3/schwalbe 2.4 etc)? Currently running high roller 2's
Also any pics welcome to provide me with a little inspiration until it arrives!

HR2 2.3 on the rear of mine with no problems, a Magic Mary 2.3 would be too close for comfort though.

Cheers stranga.
I was kind of hoping I could squeeze in something a little bigger than the hr2's I'm currently running....

My Ti switchback enjoying some Autumnal weather. Running a Conti 2.4 up front and a Conti 2.2 on the rear. Enough room to run a 2.4 at the back if required.

I tired a 2.4 HR straight away and it was too close for comfort for me anyway. Now have a 2.3 specialised purgatory.

Not got one myself...have a Slackline but I'd recommend joining the Stanton Owners group on FB if your on there. Loads of folks running the, some really nice builds. A few meets arranged through there too.

Love the bike. It's brilliant. I enjoy riding it so much that I've just sold my Rune and bought the Ti version!

Tyre clearance on the back isn't amazing, I run a 2.2 Trail King and don't think I'd get anything much wider in to be honest.

Cannot get my Dropbox pic links to work on my work PC but will post some next week showing mine around Hong Kong.
Running a mix of 2.225 back and 2.4 front, Maxxis, and 150mm Pikes, Shimano XT drive train and brakes, LB wheelset, great bike, a lot of fun, red though the green does look good.

Cheers.
I've been torn between which size to go for. I'm just under 5'10, gone for a 16.5 as that's what size Slackline I had a few years back and I believe the switchback is a shade longer? I just hope it's long enough for some longer days in the saddle....

16.5 will be fine. I'm almost 5'11 and it feels great (50mm stem and 760 bars)

(mid build obvs!)
