Still window shopping bits for a 650b Plus build.. wheel wise I think Stans ZTR Flows on 'A Hub' (probably Novatech or Hope) might be a decent weight yet serviceable option - but 2.8 seems to be at the top end of their scale. Anyone actually running this combo? Seems to be a 29mm internal width which again seems to provoke debate about whether its 'enough' or if the rim should be 35mm internal.
I've run a 3" 29+ tyre on a rim with 27mm internal width. Made the profile a but rounder, but otherwise no problems.
I’ve got 2.6 and 2.8 Nobby Nics on Flows. The 2.6 does have a better profile but the 2.8 is still perfectly fine.
Cheers chaps, good to know. See a few Roval Traverse wheelsets (29mm internal) come up too, they might also be an option for me.
