Hi, Never used this stuff, and was thinking on running non tubeless Ralphs on 819 rims using some. Is it possible to remove the sealant from inside the tyres afterwards, or is it like the car stuff which is permanant? I've got a bit of a wheel / tyre swap addiction at the moment and dont want to do it if i cant then use them with tubes on other wheels!
Thanks
it dries against the tyre, so you will be able to us it again on wheels with tubes. you can clean it off easily, it just takes time
just a word of warning before you start. Schwalbe non-UST tyres do not seal on Mavic 819 rims - in my experience anyway.
i learnt this after spending an hour in my LBS with a compressor trying to get a non tubeless NN to sit onto an 819 rim. We eventually gave up and put on a Schwalbe tubeless specific tyre that fitted first time. If you look at the two tyres the bead is slightly different.
you can remove the sealant from the tyre afterwards. i find that after 2 months my sealant dries out and sticks to the inside of the tyre.
I'll give it a shot and see what happens!
Thanks fella's
