im looking at getting some new rims and i fancy going tubeless. Are stans rims any good and which one would i need? im 14stone mainly ride around cannock but go to the peaks and north wales as often as possible

yeah from what i hear stans are great. do a search there's lots of info on them. Think stans flow are there equivalent of dt 5.1 or mavic 321.

IMO they are good, pretty strong too.

At 12.5 stone I am OK on olympics, though the short sidewalls bend if you flat (still hold air though)

it looks almost as cheap to buy a whole new hope wheel than just the rim

Got olympic rims and i'm nearly 17 stone, and no probs! Mainly used at cannock too! Wiggle were cheapest when i got mine! Dunno if they have any left though

I run Arch in the Alps without problems (so far). I'm 14-stone too.
