Morning. Looking at getting some built for the cross bike, but how do they handle higher pressures (100 psi), with tubes if nessecary, for occaisonal raod use? Your thoughts and experiences please.

I'm sure Stans warn not to use them with road tyres. Not sure what happens if you do.

They warn not to use ROAD TUBELESS tyres, the pressure is too much without a road tubeless rim. Apparently normal road tyres with a tube are ok tho some folks seems to struggle fitting them, taller rim sidewalls maybe?

I've heard it said that the rim walls can spread due to high psi? Any truth in this?
Stato - i'd happily run tubes with road tyres.
