New frame issue. Need a headset so I can fit standard 1 1/8th fork to a tapered headset. Been searching for ages but can't find anything obvious. Is there such a thing as a reducer cup or similar so I can use an ordinary headset? Linky?

I believe Hope can do you one, basically just by mixing up parts...

Hope one is ugly as. On-One have one that's pretty good, I've had no problems with mine. Cane Creek are another option as they do mix and match bits. Otherwise you might be able to find two discounted headsets in the CRC Sale and do it that way.

most tapered headsets have reducer crown races available to make a standard fork fit. Certainly Cane Creek, Hope and King. The headset cups and bearings do not differ...
