[#5180143]

I have been stalked for around 1 hour whilst riding. It was extremely distressing and there was nobody around to help. 😐

It was an Army helicopter, swooping down very low [s]checking out my ar$e[/s] then heading off followed by returning, swooping low, circling and repeat.

What's a girl to do in these situations?

😉

Well, I reckon us cyclists are pretty useful when they're doing their manoeuvres. Should I have waved perhaps?

If you got it, flaunt it!

The only thing I was flaunting was my unfitness. 😀

I've always waved at military helicopters and the occupants have always waved back.

Well they're gesturing anyway; I just presume it's a friendly wave.

They might be indicating for me to run, duck or maybe just calling me something rude 😀

i've seen a few apache longbows flying around, when i have been out.the first time was pretty cool actually,i was near beckhampton roundabout (on a farm track).a longbow apache came into view from a distance, then proceeded to start hovering below some trees then rising up again and doing it again * .they were pretty close to me so i had an excellent view of the heli (they make a fantastic sound).i must admit to loving apache heli's (not for their killing potential/just for their ability as a helicopter.they look cool also 8)

*for anyone who doesn't know, the longbow apache has a camera mounted above the main rotor blades,so it can hover behind cover, and still see all around it 8) [img] [/img]

A military helicopter landed in a field next to me when I was riding my road bike out in Spain, blew the bike right over, must be those bladed spokes. Lesson learned there - pedal away from chopper sounds.

That's an impressive gourd, Agentdagnamit 😀

I used to live in New Guinea, but on the eastern side where Arse-Grass and a Lap-Lap (apron) were the usual form of dress

Woo and hoo! Thanks for entertaining me and those (female pics) are pretty near the mark.

And for those who say that I shouldn't have been on MOD land ... actually that was earlier with Landy's roaring by and never got told off. I just don't care. 😆

c_g still rebelling. 😳

It's Radar, not a video camera IIRC?

I think it's radar, thermal imaging and optical sights for the cannon and missiles.
