Recently found the other stuff across the road and ironically prefer that to the actual trail centre.

Pro-ride video is awesome. I've been up to Stainburn quite a few times and it's not as easy as those guys make it look.

Agreed, some of the stuff over the road is great.

jonny m, most of the trail builders at Stainburn seem to prefer the natural playground in Norwood across the road, there's lots to explore and play on up there. Alot of it has been raked, but left natural. It's mostly rubbish in winter tho.

The thing about Stainburn, either side, is that it is always challenging.
Most places you go to you ride most things first time or certainly after a quick recce. After years at Stainburn there are still things that freak me out ๐Ÿ™‚

Norwood is the ying to Stainburns yang. As Nana said it gets messed up in winter but when it drys out it is real sweeet!

If you feel like helping us brash more trail in Norwood or improve the Stainburn stuff then we are around on the first Sunday of each month ๐Ÿ™‚

I think its just the big rock slab that I've not ridden, everything else I've attempted even if I've not cleaned it.

I'll vouch for you Podge. I have witnessed you trying to wreck yourself at Stainburn. My mental block is Hovis Corner..

I don't know all the names, first time I went there I fell off mote things that I could ride, second time I did that downhill curved decking and cleaned it first time, did it a couple more times just to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

I unwittingly seem to have made it into Stainburn folklore thanks to Chris's film and my falling off skills. one of the guys digging there recognised me as "that lad fromt' film that kept falling on his arse"
