I knew it was 190mm it is the stroke length? I thought it was 50mm but when measuring the shock it's more like 55mm but not quite 57mm which is the next size up from a 50mm that's why i'am asking question as I'm a little confused

190x50 shocks have a wee bit more exposed shaft than you'd expect, quite normal.

Yes 190x50...definitely...positively...most certainly it is 190x50....
190mm eye to eye shocks don't come in a longer stroke than 50mm...some spesh and rocky mountain frames take a 190x44,..but not on an Orange, they take a 190x50.....
Edit...Northwind is correct as well....
