Anyone else have issue with there ST4 ghost shifting ? rear mech shifts under suspension compression. Is this a case of gear cable too long / short ?

Cheers.

dont know as to your specific problem, but its easy enough to check.
unbolt the shock at one end, and freely move the arm through its axel path?

Most likely. Either that or your chain tightening? My LTS used to brake for me when my suspension compressed (V-brakes, remember thems?).

I don't own one but did about 100km on a '09 model, no ghost shifting so don't think it's specific to the bike...

I had the same problem with a patriot, and a longer gear outer solved it.
