Any recommendations of places to ride on the monday after SSUK? We will be heading back to London and looking to break the journey. Sherwood pines any good?

Some nice bits of the Peak are fairly easily accessible off the M1 via Chesterfield -> Baslow

Peak will be infinitely more pleasurable than SP, but the hills are a bit of a **** on the SS.
